When I was taking this picture, I didn’t know that I’d complete the hardest hike of my life on that day. The hike started out pretty good, sunny weather and walking in shirt. But soon, clouds started gathering and it began snowing at the time we were on a difficult part of the climb. On the top of the mountain, we were almost blown away by the wind and temperature was below zero. In these conditions I began to question why I liked hiking at all, but after 9 hours of snow-terror I was finally back down. There is a kind of satisfaction that you get after heavy physical activity that’s hard to match by any other feeling of satisfaction. And when I look at the pictures now I can smile about the whole adventure.
